Counselling Service in Worcester

The Worcester Therapy Group was established in 1990 under the name of C.H. Counselling Services, based originally in St. John’s in Worcester. Since its inception over 20 years ago it has extended its provision extensively, offering a comprehensive service to individuals, couples and families in the area. A number of local organisations have built up a close working relationship and come to trust in the high quality of service we offer.

The practice now comprises several experienced counsellors and psychotherapists with a wide range of expertise and backgrounds, each specialising in particular areas. This results in a comprehensive service that can be tailored to the needs of each individual.

The current Clinical Director is Gwion Jones, a qualified Psychotherapist with over 20 years clinical experience. He is a Registered Member of UKCP, Member of the College of Psychoanalysts UK, Senior Accredited Member of BACP and a Registered Member of BAPPS. His first degree is in Psychology in addition to having an MA in Psychoanalysis. He also lectures at Coventry University, currently teaching in the Department of Clinical Psychology.
